The confinement situation brought about by COVID19 has generated many doubts, anguish and uncertainty in many of the patients we care for, and also their families.  Maintaining and enriching contact with them has been a priority in the face of isolation.

Volunteers are essential in this regard to care for and be with patients and their families, sharing moments of distraction, exchanging concerns, sharing useful information, laughing, listening, etc.  For this reason, we launched the Telephone Support Volunteer Programme, which has undoubtedly been and continues to be very well received.
