On Friday 12th of April, the English Department of  Maravillas School  in Benalmadena organised the VIII Street Market in aid of Cudeca . The participants were the  primary students from 4th, 5th and 6th grade. One of the aims of the event was to give the students the opportunity  to use, in a practical and playful manner, the contents studied in class  which were related to the theme of "buying and selling". This street Market day allowed them to practice the english language and the new vocabulary acquired, outside the classroom context. The other aim was to celebrate a charity event and raise funds to help Cudeca Hospice to continue caring for patients with cancer and other advanced illnesses. Thanks to the generosity of the students and their parents, who gave the consent for them to bring selflessly different objects to be sold, this humble street market could have been successfully celebrated one more year.
