VI Inter-Centre March in aid of CUDECA
On March 21, CUDECA held its 6th Inter-Centre March for the sixth consecutive year. Schoolchildren from schools Rafael Alberti, Blas Infante, Ángel Ganivet, Sagrada Familia, Alegría de la Huerta, Cristo Rey, Benito Pérez Galdós, IES Jardín de Málaga and Salvador Rueda, ages between 10 and 13 have organized and planned this charity initiative themselves. This action in favour of the Cudeca Foundation in Malaga represents the solidarity commitment of the schools of the area and has, once again, represented a year of putting into practice the values of solidarity and helping others they are taught in school during their academic year.
The Ciudad Jardín neighborhood and the Sports Area of the City Council of Malaga together with some Malaga companies have participated of the celebration, organised by the public school Rafael Alberti. Nearly 800 schoolchildren (coming from more than 9 different schools) took part in the organization and celebration of the march, and was attended by the Malaga councillor, Carlos Conde.
The march started at 11.00 a.m. from the San Telmo Aqueduct and ended at the Parque de La Alegría in the city garden. There, each of the participating schools were recognized and the district councillor, Carlos Conde, handed over the cheque valued at 3,443 euros to the CUDECA team. The amount collected months ago in the different schools in Ciudad Jardín has been donated entirely to support the work of CUDECA.
