• On Saturday, June 4th, La Cala Resort has a very special date with the Cudeca Foundation adding another year to the trajectory of one of the most important events from the point of view of solidarity. The aim is to raise funds to continue with the special welfare work of Cudea through the XXVIII La Cala Golf Cudeca Cup at La Cala Resort coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Foundation.

• This is one of the most important charity tournaments on the Costa del Sol held at La Cala Resort, now in its 28th edition. The CUDECA Cup has a new date on Saturday, 4th June, at Campo America. The aim is to raise funds to help Cudeca continue its special way of caring.

The venue chosen for the celebration of the XXVIII golf tournament is the America Course. As for the participants, the competition is open to players (male and female) of any age with Spanish or international handicap. There is no handicap limit BUT, to qualify for a prize, the maximum handicap (exact) for men is 26.4 and for women is 36.4 (higher handicap players will compete outside the maximum handicap).

The tournament entry fee is €62 and includes green fee, shared buggy, prize giving, raffle and fundraising auction. Participants will also enjoy a delicious lunch. Non-golfers can join the players for lunch for only 25 euros. The format will be Individual Stableford (hdcp) 18 holes.

Categories and prizes will depend on the number of players.  Prizes for the 3 best results in each category and also special prizes (Nearest to the Pin, etc.).

Registration closes 48 hours before the event, but we reserve the right to close earlier if all places are filled.

Departure time is 9.30am for the shoot. The start list will be published 24 hours before the competition on our website www.lacala.com.
