Summer dreams at Gibralfaro in aid of Cudeca
On August 19th and 20th, Gibralfaro Castle will host two charity events organized by the Cudeca Foundation to raise funds for their palliative care work.
On August 19th at 9:30 p.m., the Malaga Symphony Orchestra will play the Aranjuez Concert by maestro Joaquín Rodrigo, on guitar and orchestra. It is an unprecedented event since it will be the first time that the Malaga Symphony Orchestra performs at the Gibralfaro castle, and what better way to do it than with this great work. The concert will be conducted by Juan Manuel Parra and will feature Benalmadense Miguel Chillón as lead guitar.
The second dreamy night will take place on August 20th also at 9.30 p.m. There will be a great night of Zarzuela, with a fabulous selection of classic works of this Spanish stage musical genre, performed by a first class artistic cast: the soprano Sonia García, the mezzo-soprano Carmen de Auriago, the tenors Diego Morales and Francisco Arbós, the baritone José Antonio Ariza. All of them will be accompanied on piano by Cecilia Martín, Cristina Alba Padial and Martín Jaime.
The surroundings of the Gibralfaro Castle make the two concerts of the "Summer Dreams" become a unique and unrepeatable event.
Tickets are priced at 18 euros and are available at:

To access the concerts there will be a shuttle bus that will depart from Malagueta, as the surroundings of the castle do not allow access and parking by private cars.
These concerts have been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Malaga Provincial Council and the Department of Culture of the Malaga City Council. Entradium is collaborating, in turn, with 100% of the management expenses.
All the funds raised will go to support the special work of Cudeca Hospice, helping to care for people, from the province of Malaga, at the end of their lives as well as to support their families.
