Successful Charity Evening at The Art Club
On December last year, a unique charity event involving The Art Club in San Pedro de Alcantara took place at their club in San Pedro de Alcantara where paintings made by the students were sold to raise funds in aid of Cudeca Hospice – Cancer Care & La Campana Food Bank.
This was an Open Evening where paintings were for sale and some delicious wine and cheese from the area were to be enjoyed by all guests. Some of the artists were present and visitors could ask them about their work. It was a great opportunity to meet new people in a nice environment full of art and creativity.
All proceeds go to both charities and we were donated 710€ to continue our special kind of caring after a gathering together with Anne McArthur, Addie Dagostino, Susan Seed and Christine Huckerby (from The Art Club) and Esther Ráez (from Cudeca) had taken place at their facilities in San Pedro.
