On the 20th November, Tracey, Jenny and Susanna from Manilva, organised a sponsored walk in aid of Cudeca in Sabanillas called “Stepping Out for Cancer”. All the walkers, wearing red clothing, gathered for the 5km walk at the Statue in Sabanillas in Manilva, then headed onto the Church and back.

 

On return to Sabanillas, there was a post walk party at Bodega del Genal, where masseurs were waiting to give a rub down to those aching muscles! There were also tapas and drinks available to those who felt like replacing those lost calories. All in all, it was a very successful event, bringing in over 2.500€ for the Hospice Centre!
