The 2010 Charity Event in honour of our dear, departed friend Cliff Porter, was held on the 10th December. Thanks primarily to the generosity of Santa Maria Golf Club plus far too many other clubs, restaurants, hotels, bars and people to mention, 22 4-man teams had a great day of golf from the white tees, then a great lunch followed by an auction and then the prizegiving.

 

The total amount raised was Euros 8,720.00 which was split equally between the Seve Ballesteros Foundation and Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice.

 

The AM competition was won by the team from Harmon's Bar with 86 points, followed by Los Mafiosos (also with 86 points) followed by Gay Pride (with 85 points).

 

Cudeca is extremely grateful to everybody involved; above all, the group of lady helpers run by Pat Smith who made the day a great success.
