Press Conference TRE Telethon 2015 at the Cudeca Hospice
Today at the Cudeca Hospice in Benalmadena, a Press Conference for the TRE Telethon 2015 took place.
Martin Nathan from Talk Radio Europe added that Telethon 2015 was different to previous Telethons because an extra importance had been given to events dedicated to the cause being carried out leading up to the actual Telethon 2015 held on the 27th March, with the object of not having to depend on the actual day itself to raise the funds for the fifth Home Visits team.
Once again TRE are holding their annual Telethon in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice and you are invited to join in on Friday 27th March from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm. The show will be hosted by the TRE team alongside some special guests performing live in the studio.
Each year Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice requires 3 million euros to provide its services such as home care, the day care unit and the in-patient unit to over 850 patients annually and support to their family.
The TRE Telethon website www.tretelethon.com will be displayed from Monday 9th March with all the auction items and sponsor data available, allowing visitors to make advanced bids on items they wish to try and buy, thus giving our sponsors some advertising for their generosity.
Over the years, the gifts have been wide ranging and have included beauty products and treatment sessions, hotel and villa stays, jewellery, wines & spirits, restaurant meals, tickets for event and many more exciting things.

Dear Friends,
Many of us have at some time in our lives lost friends or family to cancer. Often, it is not the passing but the process that causes most distress and it is at times like this that Cudeca Hospice, the only Cancer Care Hospice on the Costa del Sol, has brought so much relief to patients and family alike.

Over the past few years the number of patients who have asked to be treated at home in their final months and days, has grown each year, and Cudeca Hospice has increased its support for these patients and families by providing HOME VISIT TEAMS. Each team cost Cudeca Hospice €100,000 per annum and with the demand growing year on year a fifth team is now required. The Hospice cannot survive without private donations and fundraising such as this.

- By becoming a sponsor* of this year’s Telethon and having your name associated with all promotional material, posters and e-posters, and websites of all other sponsors, patrons and supporters, for a tax allowable donation of €250.
- Simply by making a donation by calling 952 000 282 or going online to www.cudeca.org. Please specify TRE Telethon with any such donation..
*each sponsor will on request receive a certificate from Cudeca Hospice.
