Meliá Costa del Sol, in their eagerness to reduce consumption and improve the environment, launched the "Meliá Charity Towel" campaign with the aim of reducing the daily change of beach towels by guests and raising funds for a local NGO. To do this, guests who would like to change their beach towel must donate €1, which will be donated to the local NGO chosen by Meliá Costa del Sol for that month.

This year, Meliá Costa del Sol has chosen Cudeca Hospice as beneficiaries for the months of August 2022 and January 2023.
In August they have raised €1,613.
