Marbella Rugby Club bag packers help Cudeca Hospice
David King of the Marbella Rugby Club came to Cudeca Hospice last Friday afternoon 24th January to present their donation for the wonderful sum of €680 which was very gratefully received.
The money was raised by children from the Rugby Club packing the bags of shoppers at Iceland store in Puerto Banus during the run up to Christmas. Marisa Ballestracci administrative from the Fundraising Department, showed David and his wife Sarah around the Hospice facilities, including the Day Care Unit and the very important In Patient Unit.
The Marbella Rugby Club are a self funded Club and this event has not only gone towards helping them stay alive, but the 20% donation of their total collection will help Cudeca Hospice continue giving their special care, free of any cost, to their patients with non-curable advanced cancer and other non curable illnesses, and support to their family.
