Melanie Saktreger, our valued co-ordinator of the Torre del Mar shop, has decided to leave Spain and her work in the shop to start a new life in the UK.
Melanie started as a volunteer in the Fuengirola shop in 1999 and then when she moved to Torre del Mar area, she continued as a volunteer at the Torre del Mar shop until she became the co-ordinator, managing over 61 volunteers. Soon afterwards she was employed to run the Torre del Mar shop as well as Nerja shop.
Cudeca Hospice sends their heartfelt thanks to Melanie for her dedication and enthusiasm with which she worked for 15 years. We wish her much happiness for her new adventure.
