La Cala Golf Resort supports Cudeca Hospice

Last Wednesday, The Captains & Vice Presidents of the La Cala Golf presented Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice with a cheque for a grand total of 6.969,72 €.
La Cala Golf Hotel-Spa, located in Mijas, held the charity Golf Tournament for the XXI Cudeca Golf Cup on Saturday 27th June in aid of Cudeca Hospice.
The shotgun began at 9.30 am. The format was an individual Stableford competition and around 64 golfers had a great day.
The event proved to be a huge success managed to raise almost 7.000 €.
For more than two decades, Cudeca Hospice has provided Palliative care to more than 9.000 patients via the following personalized care programmes: Home care visits, In-Patient unit, Day Care Centre, Physiotherapy, Counselling and Psyco-Social Programme. All care provided by the Hospice is cost-free.
A special thanks to Sonya Foster, Brian Palmer, Victor and Pauline Hilliard for organising this event this year and to all the members of the Resort for their support and collaboration.
