Record of participation at great rememberence

 

The 15th season of Jyske Bank/Sydkusten Trophy started October 18th at La Cañada Golf, with120 participants.

The biggest and eldest golf tournament for nordic residents on the Costa del Sol started strongerthan ever. The competition at La Cañada Golf was fully booked and not one single player failed to register. The new record coincided with the remberence of late Lars-Erik Björkman, father of the organizers, who died April 22nd at age 67.

In his memory a special campaign was made for and in cooperation with Cudeca, wich gathered more than 3.250 euros.

The conditions where perfect and therefore also the results. The five best players in each group all scored more than 36 points. The best result was presented by the winner in Group A, Richard Goldman, with 42 points.
