Join the Cudeca´s Reading Club!
Do you like reading? Have you lost the habit of reading? Do you want to get to know other literary genres?
The Volunteering Department has been organising a reading club for some months now, called "Sunflower Readers", in which volunteers, ex-volunteers and Cudeca workers meet online once a month to discuss the selected book. Not only do ten people share their passion for stories, but volunteers from different parts of the province can also get together and discover that in addition to solidarity, they have many other things in common.
Each month the members of this club have been able to travel to Guersney Island and meet a very special book club, they have been able to be an unconventional woman in Germany in the 1920s, travel to Bolivia, learn how far the pain of a person who has lost everything can go and immerse themselves in the police investigation in search of a paedophile who has been putting the national police on tenterhooks for years.
To say goodbye to the year, on 15 December they commented on "El invierno en tu rostro" by Carla Montero and started the year with more stories that will leave no one indifferent.
If you want to sign up, do not hesitate to contact the Volunteering Department on 652 81 30 16 and remember: "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. He who never reads only lives one".
