Join the Cudeca reading club!
Do you like to read? Have you lost the habit of reading? Do you want to know other literary genres?
From the Volunteers Department, a few months ago we launched a Reading Club, called "Girasoles Lectores", in which current volunteers, former volunteers and Cudeca workers meet online once a month to comment on the selected book. In it, not only a dozen people share their passion for stories, but also volunteers from different parts of the province can strengthen ties and discover that in addition to solidarity, they have many other things in common.
Since the inception of the reading club, the books that have been read have, for example, allowed its members to travel to the Isle of Guersney and get to know a very particular reading club, they have also been able to be an unconventional woman in Germany in the 1920s, also travel to Bolivia and find out how far the pain of a person who has lost everything can go, or also immersing oneself in a police investigation in search of a pedophile who has put the national police in check for many years.
If you want to sign up and be part of the “Girasoles Lectores” club, do not hesitate to contact the Volunteers Department on 652 81 30 16 and remember:
“A reader lives a thousand lives before dying. He who never reads only lives one”.
