THE IX WOMEN'S RACE AGAINST CANCER CITY OF MALAGA WILL TAKE PLACE ON MARCH 5TH.

The benefits of the race will be destined to Agrupación Unidos Contra el Cáncer.

The race will run through the interior of the Port of Malaga and will have a distance of 4.5 kilometers.

The IX Women Against Cancer Race City of Malaga will be held on March 5 from 10:30 am with a new route through the Port of Malaga.

This is an initiative of the City of Malaga, through the Department of Social Rights and Equality, and the Development Association United Against Cancer, in collaboration with the Andalusian Government, through the delegation of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality, and the Diputación de Málaga, through the delegation of Equality, Social Services and Families. This has been announced by the Councillor for Social Rights, Francisco Pomares, the delegate of the Junta de Andalucía on equality, Ruth Sarabia, and the deputy of the branch, Lourdes Piña.

The test also has the sponsorship of the Obra Social 'la Caixa', Perfumerías Primor and El Puerto de Málaga.

This year for the first time 3 categories are established: absolute, different abilities and oldest runner who finishes the race.

All funds raised by the registration of people in the race will go to the associations that are part of the Development Association. The registration fee is 10 euros and can be formalized through the web hhttps://:carreramujermalaga.com or the platform https://dorsalchip.es.

The bibs for registered participants can be picked up from March 1st to 4th, both inclusive, at the Primor Perfumeries indicated on the Carrera de la Mujer website. With the registration each participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a welcome pack with discount vouchers and water and fruit supplies at the finish line.

For those who do not actively participate in the race and want to support the Agrupación de Desarrollo Contra el Cáncer, they can do it through the DORSAL 0, collaborating with a donation.

UNITED AGAINST CANCER DEVELOPMENT GROUP
The benefits of the race will be delivered to the Development Association United Against Cancer, composed of Cesare Scariolo Foundation, Olivares Foundation, Cudeca Foundation, Spanish Association Against Cancer, Malaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients, ASAMMA, AVOI and Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation.

These entities work to promote the exchange of information and experiences among all their members, to promote and encourage cancer awareness and prevention actions, to promote healthy lifestyles and health education, to create a specific space for debate, reflection, proposals and action planning in the fight against cancer and to coordinate care, intervention and treatment resources.
