III Salida del Sol – A Project Management International Visual and Performing Arts Festival
S A L I D A D E L S O L III, International Visual and Performing Arts Festival, is in its 3rd edition on the Costa del Sol and encompasses 7 EXQUISITE EVENING CONCERTS over 8 days organised by Project Music (PM) in the stunning venue of AVANTO THEATER at the beach, La Cala de Mijas.
The Salida del Sol Festival III wil donate 10% of all ticket sales to help us.
The theme of this year´s Festival is PEACE: BUILDING BRIDGES THROUGH THE ARTS. It is the most unique and innovative Visual and Performing Arts Festival in Spain, Salida del Sol III October 1st – 8th.
22 International musicians, dancers, filmmakers, award winning international authors, fashion show by Russian designer ROSUN, surrounded by an Art Exhibition bringing the whole event together. Each evening accompanied by wine and fine tapas. Doors open every day to view the Art Exhibition from 11 am. Up to 10 Artists such as painters Anouk Slegers, Gerrit Oppelland, Enrique Agusti, Gabrielle Ange, Sheila Klein, Maiju Tiri, Evert van Bommel and Paul Arts; and sculptors like Lilian Michelin and Javier Hilera will participate in the Art Exposition.
Pre Soiree Presentations, Fashion Show, Hawaiian Healing Art, Dancing, Award Winning Authors, Discussions, Tony Palmer presents etc. will be offered at 7.30pm each evening, adding to the uniqueness of this Festival, bringing even more options to the community on the Costa del Sol.
From classical music, to the world premiere of a new opera directed by Tony Palmer, Emmy and BAFTA winner, to supporting Young Musicians from the coast, finishing off with our Mini Proms evening on the 7th of October, with 2 local choirs involved THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SOCIETY and Choir ANDALUZ, with many of the week´s performing musicians, in a show not to be missed, bringing the BBC Proms idea to the Costa.
Fusing Arts and Music is a core belief of Salida del Sol, Project Music aims to bring together the visual and performing Arts in ways that are innovative, creative, diverse and offer opportunities for all artists to participate, creating platforms, diversity, opportunities to live and breathe and allowing innovation is at the centre of what PM aims to achieve. We always aim to engage and enrich the local communities lives through our endeavours.
