Our CUDECA volunteers are happily organizing the "Sunflowers for Cudeca" activity to make their own charity celebration of the Valentine´s Day taking place at the Plaza de la Constitución in Málaga city on Thursday 14th February from 5 till 7 pm to help us raise funds to continue our special kind of caring. This activity aims to disseminate the work of Cudeca and raise funds through the sale of sunflowers to cover the costs of the free specialized care that CUDECA offer to the community of Malaga. Each year, CUDECA assist more than 1,500 patients with cancer and other illnesses in advanced stages, and offer support to their families in the province of Malaga. An awareness-raising table will be set up from 5 till 7pm in the Plaza de la Constitución to inform about our special kind of caring as well as the different ways in which the community can help us: becoming a member, helping as volunteer, organizing charity events, leaving legacies, working at the charity shops and getting a charity CUDECA tin. Volunteers will offerour charity sunflowers in exchange for a donation of €3.00. We would like to thank Viveros Guzmán and the Malaga City Council for their collaboration as their help makes this event possible.
