On the 16th of June the exhibition-auction in favour of Cudeca will be inaugurated. Artists from Malaga who develop their work in various painting and drawing workshops in our city come together to raise funds for the Foundation and its end-of-life care. From the 16th of June, La Nave Auction Exhibition for the benefit of Cudeca will begin, an exhibition that will be held at La Nave, C. Cerrajeros, 9 and virtually on the website https://cudeca.org/subasta/ where, as well as viewing the works, it will also be possible to bid for them from the 16th. The works will be on display at La Nave Social and Cultural Centre until 30 June. Donated to raise funds for the benefit of Cudeca, they have been made by artists from Malaga who work in various painting and drawing workshops in our city and can be visited on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Artistic activity in Malaga is abundant and its promotion, whether through private cultural associations, neighbourhood associations or the offer offered by public administrations in this area, finds a response with an increasing number of enthusiasts and art lovers in general and painting and drawing in particular. In this case, participants in the workshops held at the Centro Social y Cultural La Nave, the Asociación de Vecinos de El Palo and the Asociación de Vecino de Cortijo Alto, have agreed through their monitors to organise and carry out this solidarity project through a large exhibition (58 works) which can be enjoyed both in the space set up in La Nave, and through the website that Cudeca has adapted to show the works https://cudeca.org/subasta/. The format of the works does not exceed 40 cm approximately and the techniques range from graphite drawing to oil painting, as well as acrylic, watercolours and pastels. The sale system will be by auction, with a starting price of €25 per work. Bids can be made from 16 to 30 June and, as mentioned above, all the proceeds will be donated in full to Cudeca. The inauguration will take place on the 16th of June at 20:00 h at La Nave, located in C/ Cerrajeros, 9 and will be enlivened by the choir La Mar de Voces, Los Músicos del Titanic, followed by a performance by the musical group Los Trompetti and Gess it, a great party to celebrate this artistic event. The Foundation would like to thank all those involved for their efforts in helping us to care at the end of life.
