On Saturday 15 September, for the third consecutive year, the III Paco Carvajal Memorial was held in the Francisco Muñoz Perez Football Stadium in Estepona to help us.   The match and the closing ceremony were attended by the mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, and the Deputy Mayor, Ana Mª Velasco Garrido, on behalf of the Estepona Town Hall; the head of the Local Police of Estepona, Alfredo Torres Rojas, the son of the remembered Paco Carvajal, Andrés Carvajal, with his family, mother and sister were also present; as well as the president of the Real Betis Veterans Association and the president of the Association of Former Football Players of Malaga.   In this third edition of the Paco Carvajal Memorial, a friendly triangular was held between the Real Betis de Veteranos, the Málaga C.F. Veteranos and the C.D. Estepona Veteranos joining forces and illusion to share with their fans this memorial by the figure of the beloved Paco Carvajal, emblematic personality of Estepona and its football. For his part, Andrés Carvajal, organizer of the memorial, as well as player and son of the remembered Paco Carvajal, expressed his gratitude before "so many emotions together: sadness, on the one hand, and pride, on the other, since, at the same time, I am making happy all the ex-partners of my father to gather up again and, also, to collaborate with the cause of the Cudeca Hospice". The anecdote of the day went to the winner of the raffle for the Iberian ham and two bottles of wine donated by Mercadona Supermercados, the driver of the Real Betis de Veteranos, a moment of celebration and congratulations from all those gathered there.     Thanks to the assistants and our volunteers, it was made possible to raise more than 362€ which will be destined entirely to the care of patients.   A special mention and thanks for the participation of all attendees and the City of Estepona to this charity event to support the cause of the Cudeca Foundation, as well as the collaboration of companies such as Mármoles y Granitos Estepona, BP Los Reales, BP Río Padrón, Nissan Concesol, Bar Macarena, Uniformes Estepona, Gentle maintenance and cleaning, La pepa Centro, Carrefour Estepona, Almacénd e Mármoles y granitos Valtidasa, Carpintería Caravaca, Recreativos Jubelmar, Le Sud Copas Marbella, Costasol Deluxe transport, Peugeot López Cano Talleres, Cinemaluxury, Construcciones Altapa, Renault Rombosol, Wood World Design, Carnicería Sergio and Carpintería M.
