Last Wednesday, 16th September, Cudeca Hospice received from the Hermandad Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Los Boliches,  Fuengirola a generous donation of € 680.

The donation was received at  Cudeca´s Charity Shop in Los Boliches, and the event was attended by Lydia Vega, Hermana Mayor and Maria del Carmen Pérez, Lieutenant Hermana Mayor, and on behalf of the Hospice Foundation, the Deputy Executive Chief and Financial Director, Rafael Olalla was there with Shop Coordinator Carmen Rodriguez to show their appreciation.

The story behind this donation is poignant. The image of the Virgin passes through all the Hermandad, who deposit a small bond to pay for any expenses that may need paying for the maintenance of the image. But with the passage of time, it has been decided by the Hermandad, in the name of their Virgin, to donate this amount to different charitable causes.
