Diploma of the Malaga Academy of Sciences to Dr. Yusuf Hamied
On 30 September, on the day of the European Researchers' Night 2022, representatives of the Malaga Academy of Sciences visited our facilities in Benalmádena, touring the Yusuf Hamied Centre, home to our Cudeca Institute for Studies and Research in Palliative Care, and receiving a talk from our Vice President, Susan Hannam and our Chief Executive and Medical Director, Dra. Marisa Martín.
The President of the Academy, Fernando Orellana, presented a diploma from the Malaga Academy of Sciences to Dr. Yusuf Hamied in recognition of his generosity and altruism. Dr. Hamied expressed his satisfaction at having found this corner of Malaga where he feels so happy and having been impressed by the work carried out by CUDECA, which is why he maintains this intense link with the Cudeca Foundation.
