On 11th January Diamond Resorts International presented Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice their cheque from their 2nd International Charity Walk.

 

On behalf of Diamond Resorts, the presentation was attended by Suzana Gomercic, Vice President of European Operations and Ana Tovar, Management Co-ordinator and present for Cudeca was Rocio Torres, Manager of Communications and Fundraising and Angel Krebbers, Technical Communications.

 

The total raised from the event was €1,850 and this will go towards covering part of the costs of patient care.  Every year Cudeca cares for more than 750 people suffering from advanced and non-curable illnesses and support for their families totally without cost.

 

More than 190 people took part in the Diamond Resorts 2nd Walk and completed 4 kilometres along the Benalmádena sea front, starting and finishing at Castle Bil-Bil.  They were given refreshments of hot chocolate, coffee, tea and there was also a raffle.  This year Diamond Resorts International of Mallorca were also involved.

 

Cudeca give their heartfelt thanks to Diamond Resorts International and all their staff for their kindness and efforts in organising the Charity Walk.  Also thanks go to all the walkers whose participation will help Cudeca to continue adding life to days to many people.
