Cudeca Hospice are delighted to have recently received a donation of 20,000€ from David Charles Wells. Originally from London, David moved to Spain 25 years ago after retiring as a kitchen fitter. He lived with his adored wife Marie, who sadly passed away last year, and their rescue dog Susie who has now been adopted by close friends. He spent those years living in Las Chapas, Marbella. He was a great neighbour and is still a wonderful friend to many here. David played golf for many years with Club de Golf La Siesta. He was a valued member for over 20 years and his presence is missed on the course and in the clubhouse!

David became ill in March and the dedicated team at Cudeca headed by Doctor Irene, along with the oncology team at the Costa del Sol Hospital provided him care and support when it was most needed.  David decided recently to return to the UK to continue his treatment and spend time with his family. His donation is to show thanks and appreciation to Cudeca Hospice and to allow them to continue their essential service in caring for those suffering from cancer.
