CUDECA is present at the Malaga Farmers’ Association’s 40th anniversary
On Tuesday, May 29th ASAJA Malaga (the Malaga branch of the Young Farmers’ Association) held its General Assembly which coincided with two special dates – ASAGA’s (the Growers’ and Farmers’ Association) 40th anniversary and 25 years since the founding of ASAJA (the Young Farmers’ Association).
Attending the act was the Minister of Agriculture, Isabel García Tejerina, and also present, on behalf of the Cudeca Foundation, Dr. Marisa Martín, Chief Executive and Medical Director, who spoke to the assembly about CUDECA’s work over the last 25 years. After the meeting a charity raffle in aid of CUDECA was held, raising 6,000 euros.
CUDECA Hospice gives heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in the raffle and to the important support it receives from ASAJA.
All funds raised will go to the professional, free of charge care that CUDECA Hospice gives each year to more than 1,400 patients with cancer, and other advanced-stage illnesses without cure, as well as the support given to their families.
