“Drums 2010 for Cudeca” is a charity drum competition organised by professional drummer and teacher Paul Johnson. The event is taking place on Sunday 14th March from 13:00–17:00h at the Bonanza Cabaret Bar in Benalmadena. The age categories are 6-12, 13-18, 19+ years with free entrance to anyone who can play drums. Each performer will get a free pair of drumsticks and there are prizes to be won in each age category. Although performers will be judged by a professional panel led by Mr Ian Green of the Marbella Big Band, the emphasis will be on giving positive and helpful comments to improve their musicianship and of course, providing an opportunity to perform live in front of an audience, a skill ultimately you must have as a musician.

 

All proceeds from audience ticket sales will be donated to Cudeca to help them continue offering the “Special Kind of Caring” to patients suffering from advanced non-curable cancer.
