La Reserva del Higuerón Sports Club will be holding a charity Paddle Marathon in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice on Sunday 4th May.
The 11 paddle courts belonging to the club will be open to players from 10:00h to 20:00h for the categories male, female and mixed. There will be trophies for the winners of each respective category, a BBQ to regain strengths and a charity raffle with great prizes. The club has also prepared a separate play area with activities and fun games for the younger children.
The aim of this marathon is to help the Cudeca Hospice, an NGO that offers cost-free care to more than 750 people each year with advanced non-curable cancer, and support to their families. Since 1992 more than 7,000 people have been cared for by Cudeca within the province of Málaga.

The Sports Club will allocate 50% of the funds raised from the tickets sold for the paddle marathon to Cudeca. The registration fee is 10€ per person and can be purchased at the club from now up to 27th April 2012.
