Cudeca Annual Gala Dinner 2011

On 1st July, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice held its 5th Gala Dinner at the Botanical Garden-Finca de la Conception of Malaga, with the aim of raising funds to continue Giving Life to days to patients with advanced cancer, completely free of charge.
Thanks to all the guests, raffle donations and those who could not attend and have made a donation, we managed to raise nearly 14,000€ on this special evening. We were privileged to have the following Cudeca supporters attend; the Councillor of Citizen Participation, Paco Pomares; representing the Malaga Town Hall, the President of the Deputation of Málaga, Elias Bendodo and the Vice President, Ana Carmen Mata, along with other VIP’s and major companies, organizations and associations such as Acabados del Mueble, ACEB, Alliance Vending, Bellosol, Coca Cola, Clinica Santa Elena, Málaga College of Lawyers, Nursing College of Málaga, Croasa, Diario Sur, Famadesa, Fundación Malaga, Garrigues, Grupo Suite, Hotel Don Carlos, Isoft, Jewellers A. Marcos, Grünental Laboratory, Limonar 40, Ibericar Benet, Pinturas Andalucia, Salcar, Segurisur, Unicaja, Guzman Garden Centres and Xanit International Hospital.
During the evening, guests enjoyed the musical performances by the wind quintet, bass and drums kindly donated by Xania music production and the comedian Francisco Páez.
The gala was presented by journalist Domi del Postigo and actress and model Remedios Cervantes. Following the dinner, the traditional raffle was held with wonderful gifts donated by corporate partners present at the Gala, such as the Jewellers A. Marcos, Famadesa, Unicaja, Bellosol, Hotel Don Carlos, amongst others.
To bring the evening to a close, a spectacular Chronos Hublot watch, donated by the Jewellers A. Marcos, was raffled which was presented to the winner by Remedios Cervantes and Carlos Marcos, a member of the renowned jewellers.
The friendship and collaboration of the community and public & private entities are essential enabling Cudeca to continue providing its "Special Kind of Caring."
