A Collaboration Agreement has been signed today between Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa and the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice with the view to joining efforts to help persons suffering from advanced cancer in the province of Malaga.

 

The Agreement was signed by the Director of the Hotel Don Carlos, Manel Castelló, and for the Cudeca Hospice, the Medical Director, Marisa Martín and the Manager of Communication and Fund Raising, Rocío Torres.

 

By signing this agreement, the Hotel Don Carlos Resort has wished to formalise their firm support of the Special Kind of Caring given by the Cudeca Hospice, through raising funds and the disposal of areas for holding events and raising awareness. In the words given by the Director of the Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa, Manel Castelló: “one of the main social commitments of our Resort is to do what is within our means to contribute in helping and improving the quality of life of those who need it most”.

 

The Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice would like to offer its heartfelt thanks to the Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa so that together we may continue to give life to days to the more than 5.800 patients with advanced cancer and their families, through the Home Care, Out Patients and Counselling, Psycho-social, Day Centre and Rehabilitation and In Patients Unit programmes, all of which are given free of charge.
