“Born in the USA” centenary celebration of the Lions Club in aid of Cudeca Foundation and Fmaec
On Friday 13th of April, the commemorative celebration of the 100 years of life of the Lions Club will take place at the Santa Catalina Castle in Malaga. The anniversary party called "Born in the USA" will also have a charity purpose donating all proceeds tohelp us and the FMAEC Foundation together.
This event came up as a Gibralfaro Lions Club of Malaga´s genuine idea. The Lions Club is a worldwide association organized in small clubs with independent management but sharing the same purpose. Their motto is: "we serve", and refers directly to the central idea of the institution of providing private community service on the largest possible scale. There are 46.000 clubs and 1.5 million members in 206 countries.
The Free Soul Band will be performing to amuse the evening. Tickets (40€ including cocktail, disco and prizes) can be purchased at: clmalagagibralfaro@gmail.com / 667 53 6791. The event aims to recreate an American atmosphere reminding the fact that the club was born in the USA: Food, music, American companies, basketball, raffle and the Malaga band Free Soul Band singing their more American versions of their repertoir will be at the venue. American Style Dresscode will be required too.

50% of the funds raised will be used for the free professional care provided by the Cudeca Cancer Care hospice, to people with cancer and other advanced illnesses and support to their families.
