Archidona supports the Cudeca Hospice

On 30th July, the official act was held to present the funds raised from the Gala Playback, held in the playground of the San Sebastian school in Archidona on 12th July. Attending this event were Francisco Jiménez Aguilera, Deputy Mayor of the Archidona Town Hall, along with the organizers of the Gala Playback, Paqui Medina Navarro and Pepe Aguilera Mora. We were also accompanied on behalf of Cudeca by Dr. Emilio Alba, Patron; Dr. Marisa Martin, Chief Executive and Medical Director; and Rocío Torres, Manager of the Communication and Fundraising department. These funds will go towards the Special Kind of Caring Cudeca offers via its multidisciplinary programs for Home Care, In-patient Unit, Day Care Centre, Rehabilitation and Psycho-social care, all coordinated from our Hospice Centre. All the care provided is completely free of charge.

Thanks to the charitable support of the municipality of Archidona, we managed to raise 11.231€, which together with the last two Galas held in aid of Cudeca, comes to a grand total of 35,000€ for the Hospice.
Cudeca is sincerely grateful to the community of Archidona, the corporation and the collaborating entities that have made this event possible. Together we can continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most.
