A wonderful cosmopolitan soulful St. Patricks evening at the Valparaiso restaurant in aid of Cudeca
Last Saturday, a superb evening was had by one and all at the elegant Valparaiso restaurant in Mijas with the excellent host Rafaele Morelli.
Guests from all corners of Europe were greeted with Black Velvet welcome drinks and a slap up meal we have become accustomed to experiencing at this quality establishment.
Heartfelt thanks go to Stuart Ashing for brilliantly arranging the sound and light, the great soulful sound of Debra Stacey and the classy professionalism of the saxophonist Leonardo de Peruta who all performed free of charge as we celebrated a tribute to Irish’s Patron Saint St. Patrick.
This event was also the Launchpad for Milly and Tim’s Paris Marathon run in aid of Cudeca Hospice. They and other De Vere’s colleagues joined us as we sent them off to complete their once-in-a-lifetime challenge. Please sponsor their huge undertaking at http://www.cudeca.org/iniciativas-solidarias/es/evento/milly-tim-s-de-vere-s-paris-marathon-run as they look to complete their first marathon.
A charity raffle also took place with wonderful quality prizes on offer. We were all Irish for a night as we danced the night away in the company of great artists as 320€ were raised for Cudeca Hospice.
