A visit from the Nerja Drop-In Centre
The group of Volunteers from the Nerja Drop-In Centre continues to grow and day by day more people are cared for. For this reason, last March we held another training course which was attended by five new volunteers who have now joined the group.
When the course ended, we held a follow-up meeting, and were joined by all the other group volunteers. It was a good opportunity for all the volunteers to get to know one another and also to run through the activities that had been held throughout the previous year.
One of the suggestions raised at the meeting was to organise a visit to the Cudeca Hospice. This was arranged during the month of March and both volunteers from the Nerja Drop-In Centre and other volunteers were able to visit the Centre in person and see the different Care Programmes for themselves. A wonderful experience was shared by all.
