A superb night and a fitting tribute to poet Robert Burns at the Tamisa
Last Thursday night at the Tamisa Hotel in Mijas, the Cudeca Goldies presented a magnificent night of tribute to the Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Bagpipes greeted us at the entrance for what would have been Robert’s 259th birthday and accompanied us to the Dining Room where to get proceedings underway, the Haggis was addressed by verses in Scottish, great food was served by the Tamisa hospitable staff and Laura Elen sang her heart out as a cosmopolitan audience danced the night away.
Sincere thanks go to the Tamisa Golf Hotel Manager and owner John Peach for organizing this unforgettable event where 1895euros was raised for Cudeca Hospice.
