Did you know that in 1994 we hired our first Home Care team and now we have 7 teams that provide medical care and psychological and social support to more than 1,700 people and their families every year? 

Our teams are made up of a nurse and a doctor specialised in palliative care and are complemented by psychologists and social workers to offer care adapted to each patient's situation. 

We make home visits from Monday to Friday, mainly in the morning, in close coordination with the Primary Care teams of the Public Health Service. 

In 2006 we signed the first contract with the Andalusian Regional Government which partially financed 3 Home Care Teams. Recently, from the 1st of January 2022, the Regional Ministry of Health partially finances 5 of the 7 teams in operation, which is a vital support for the sustainability of this programme. 

If a patient's situation becomes complicated, our teams ask our Hospitalisation Unit to admit the patient in order to better control the disease.
