On 27 June 2024, Benalmádena Town Hall agreed to award Cudeca Hospice Foundation a grant of €25,000 to finance the project ‘Home care for the terminally ill’.

This nominative grant contributes to the maintenance of the service provided by CUDECA in the municipality, in which during the year 2024, 143 patients have been cared for, with an average age of 78 years, and in 92% of cases, they have oncological illnesses.

The objectives of the project are focused on improving the quality of life, alleviating suffering and promoting the autonomy of people with advanced illnesses, who have to face the end-of-life stage.
