Marbella renews agreement with CUDECA
The Marbella Town Hall, through its Department of Social Rights headed by Isabel Cintado, has renewed the collaboration agreement with CUDECA, which has a budget of 20,000 euros with the aim of helping to cover the cost of the Cudeca´s Home Care programme in Marbella.
The mayoress, Mª Ángeles Muñoz commented: “It will serve to cover part of the association's expenses, in addition to other forms of funding such as the two shops it has in the city, in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, managed by its own volunteers". And she added: "It is one of the most prestigious organisations on the Costa del Sol and is made up of great professionals. The Town Hall will always have our support so that they can carry out the magnificent work they do on a daily basis.”
Likewise, Cudeca´s Chief Executive and medical director, Dr. Marisa Martín expressed gratefully: "We feel very much loved and supported in Marbella, where we have two shops and a hundred volunteers, also attending to a hundred people through our programmes and activities, aimed at both cancer patients and other advanced illnesses and their families".
