One in a million concert for the benefit of Cudeca
The Unicaja María Cristina Concert Hall hosted the One in a million choral concert in aid of the Cudeca Foundation, as part of its crowdfunding campaign "Joan Hunt, One in a million".
On the 16th of December at 19:00h this choral concert was held thanks to the choir of the Official College of Architects of Malaga and the choir "De Voces" Ensemble of San Pedro de Alcántara, together with some musicians from Malaga and directed by Anabel Sánchez Ramos in a totally disinterested way. More than 50 artists on this emblematic stage of the Unicaja María Cristina concert hall, which has one of the best acoustics for this type of concert, gave a memorable concert.
In the concert some Christmas works were performed such as:
Ave Maria, O Holy night (Noël), African Noël, The Lord's Prayer, White Christmas, Ave María....
The concert was presented by Mr. Ricardo Urdiales, President of the Foundation, who stressed the need for the creation of the paediatric unit for children and adolescents at the end of life. Also in attendance were Rafael Olalla, Deputy Manager and Financial Director of the Foundation, Rafael Gómez, Head of Care of the Foundation and Mayca Campos, Cudeca's ambassador.
The fundraising was almost 3,000 euros and 200 people attended, volunteers and friends of the foundation helped with ticket sales, assisted and handed out FP2 masks to increase the safety of the attendees.
The Cudeca Foundation would like to thank the two choirs and their conductor for this generous gesture of offering their talent selflessly, the Unicaja Foundation for providing the venue and Entradium for the free online ticket sales.
All funds raised will go to our special way of caring.
