Cudeca Hospice renew the Fundación Lealtad´s “Accredited NGO” Seal
The Cudeca Hospice has renewed the Fundación Lealtad's "Accredited NGO" Seal, a unique distinction in Spain that helps donors to clearly and simply recognize those NGOs that meet their current requirements for transparency and efficient management. Thanks to the Seal, donors will know that the Cudeca Hospice focuses its efforts on the areas in which it has experience, that its communication is reliable and not misleading and that they can find out the percentage of expenditure it allocates to its mission, among other indicators.
"The renewal of the Seal is of great satisfaction to all of us who are part of the Cudeca Hospice, because it means we are doing things efficiently and with transparency. The most important advantage is to offer the community a Seal that brings them confidence in our work, and which is recognized by public institutions, as well as companies and private donors", explains Assumpta Eceiza Nebreda, Financial and General Services Manager of the Cudeca Hospice.
The granting of the accreditation is the result of the analysis carried out by Fundación Lealtad, which has concluded that Fundación Cudeca fully complies with the 9 Principles of Transparency and Good Practices.
"Fundación Lealtad is a non-profit institution whose mission is to foster society's trust in NGOs in order to achieve an increase in donations, as well as in any other type of collaboration. It was the first entity to develop a methodology for analysing the transparency and good management practices of Spanish NGOs. This work has been carried out since its constitution in 2001, based on its values of independence, transparency, solidarity and rigour".
