On March 5, representatives of CUDECA and the Peña Malaguista of Denmark together with many other guests and friends of the Danish group, gathered up at the Döss Restaurant in Cabopino (Marbella) for a joyful fundraising evening to helping us to continue our special kind of caring.

The Peña Malaguista of Denmark is the result of the passion of the sports journalist Morten Möller, for football and for the white-blue colors. Although he has always given his unconditional support to the club of Martiricos, he has also been involved in different solidarity causes. "Tonight, in addition to enjoying dinner and the live show, the members are going to donate 3,000 euros to CUDECA", he has declared with great emotion. “We are very happy to be able to donate this money to CUDECA and are proud of the good work of the foundation”, continued Morten Moller. “It´s such an honour to keep receiving the help of associations as The Peña Malaguista of Denmark so we can continue caring for more than 1,400 patients every year. The night has been lovely and full of dance and music and we are also having a great time with the group. Hopefully, this collaboration will continue for many years to come”, stated Rafael Olalla, our Deputy Chief Executive & Financial Director with great excitement. CUDECA has around 1,000 volunteers and 23 charity shops. La Peña is continuing this great commitment to the hospice for more than a decade already.

Döss restaurant served a 3 course menu at maximum quality and the guests were entertained by Mickey Pless at his piano and, then, the famous Dario (winner of Eurovision in the 60´s) performed his most popular songs for all. The dance was led by Egon Kjer and the guests jumped in the dance floor until the late hours of the night.
