On January 21, Cadena SER Malaga radio visited the facilities of the Palliative Care Center of the Cudeca Hospice with the aim of making the symbolic delivery of the funds collected in the Auction for Life held last December. Present at the ceremony were José Manuel Atencia, Director of the Cadena SER in Malaga; Luís Morell, Sales Director; and Isabel Ladrón de Guevara, presenter of the Cadena SER; and on behalf of the Foundation, Marisa Martín, Manager and Medical Director; Rafael Olalla, Assistant Manager and Financial Director; Rafael Gómez, Head of Assistance; and Angel Krebbers, Head of Communication and Fundraising. The "Auction for Life", co-organized by the Cudeca Foundation and Cadena SER Malaga, was inaugurated on November 1 and ended on December 18 with the live broadcast of Cadena SER Malaga at the Cudeca Foundation's facilities and included interviews with Foundation personnel and personalities involved in the auction. The auction featured more than 85 items donated by artists and solidarity companies and raised 7,291 euros, which will be used to care for people with cancer and other advanced diseases as well as to support their families.
