Come Dancing 4 CUDECA members have been gathering together for more than 12 years in La Axarquia to raise funds to help us. On December 7^th, they had their last dance of the year for Christmas where they announced a total balance for the year of €1,358.

“It’s lovely to know that Come Dancing 4 Cudeca has such loyal supporters. Each dance averages about 50 people and the last two dances have had about 8 different nationalities dancing together. We usually have about 4 -6 single ladies who enjoy the Scottish dances, line dances and jives as well as the ballroom dances. Several couples came over to Spain from GB for our special Valentine’s dance and some have already booked for 2019”, said Joyce Munns, the organizer of the dances, with passion and enthusiasm. More than €17,000 have been raised for CUDECA since they started 12 years ago.

COME DANCING 4 CUDECA is a dance group of people from different nationalities who gather at the El Trapiche Restaurante in La Axarquía once a month to enjoy and celebrate together. No previous knowledge of dancing is required to join up the dances. They started 12 years ago fundraising for the Cudeca Hospice and continue doing it today.
