Successful Santa Mª Golf Cudeca Charity Tournament
In June, Santa Maria Golf Club celebrated their 25th anniversary since opening in 1992 with their Annual Santa Mª Golf Club Captain´s Charity Tournament in aid of Cudeca.
The 18-hole competition with over 100 players began with a shotgun start. During lunch an Auction was held for items including a golf trolley, holidays and a voucher for Helicopters Sanitarios.
The Captain of the club, Jeremy Byrne, together with his team organized this magnificent event in which more than €22.000 were raised with the help of all participants, and sponsors Helicopteros Sanitarios and Caixabank.
Attending on behalf of Cudeca were, President Ricardo Urdiales, together with Marisa Martin, Chief Executive and Medical Director, and Susan Hannam, Vice President. Ricardo Urdiales thanked Golf Captain Jeremy Byrne and his team (Gill Ballard, Pat Reynolds and Margot Jann) for the great organization resulting in a fantastic donation to Cudeca Hospice.
