Benalmádena, 29th March 2016

On 17th March the Irish Association of Spain invited Cudeca Hospice to participate at their celebration of St. Patrick's Day held at the feria ground in Paloma Park, Benalmádena Costa.
The celebrations in the Park started around 1 pm and went on until 6 pm in the afternoon. A wide selection of bands, dancers, singers and performers kept us entertained, including the fabulous Celtic Dancers. Bars served the best Guinness as well as larger for non-believers, and 100% Irish beef burgers, hot dogs and of course fried onions.
Cudeca Hospice had a stand set up for those wishing to make a donation. Cudeca volunteers collected 297,35 € with the fundraising tins.
The funds raised at this event will help to continue providing “life to days” through Cudeca's “special kind of caring” - palliative care to over 11,000 advanced cancer patients and their families throughout the province of Málaga.
Heartfelt thanks goes to The Irish Association for supporting Cudeca Hospice.
