La Cala Golf Club makes donation to Cudeca Hospice

On 22nd January La Cala Golf Club visited Cudeca Hospice in Benalmádena to present their donation for the monies they raised in 2015.
Representing La Cala Golf Club were Vic and Pauline Hilliard, 2016 Captains; Jenny Chesterton, Secretary; Wendy Hinds, Treasurer and to receive the presentation on behalf of Cudeca Hospice were Susan Hannam, Vice President; and Joan Hunt OBE, Honorary President and Founder.
The donation of 3,340 euros was raised by the Golf Club members during 2015 and added to the amount raised at the annual Cudeca Golf Tournament, the total for the year is 10,309.72 euros.
This total will be used to renew some of the beds and part of the alarm system in the In-Patient Unit which last year celebrated its 10th Anniversary of opening.
The La Cala Golf Captains for 2016 confirmed that one of the most important dates on their golfing calendar will again be the annual Cudeca Golf Cup Tournament which will take place on 25th June.
Thanks to donations like those from La Cala Golf Club, Cudeca Hospice is able to continue with their vital work within the community of "adding days to life" to those who need it most.
