Antonio Banderas is named Honorary Trustee of Cudeca Hospice and a tribute is made to the renowned painter Manuel Mingorance Acién.

Today, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, named Antonio Banderas as Honorary Trustee of Cudeca and a tribute was made to Manuel Mingorance Acién to thank him for his artistic donation of art in aid of the Special Kind of Caring.
 
Present to witness this memorable event were, Trustees of the Foundation “Lagrimas y Favores”, Franciso Fortes, Antonio Pedraza and Jesús Fortes; Ricardo Urdiales; José Luis Palma; Juan Antonio Astorga and the Mayoress of Benalmádena, Paloma Garcia Gálvez; Susan Hannam; Rafael Olalla and Dr. Marisa Martín.
 
The recognition for Honorary Trustee of Cudeca, was awarded to Antonio Banderas by one of the current Trustees of Cudeca, Don José Luís Palma. Banderas was very grateful and explained his desires, personally and on behalf of his Foundation, his mission to always support Cudeca Hospice.
 
To follow, now holding his new position as Honorary Trustee, Antonio Banderas awarded a commemorative plaque to the renowned painter of Málaga Manuel Mingorance Acién, to thank him for his generous donation of 10 works of art which will be sold to raise funds for Cudeca to continue offering its services and care programmes to more than 750 people and their families each year.
 
The renowned painter from Málaga expressed his gratitude thanks to his executor, Diego Maldonado, who explained the motive for the donation of the paintings, and his desire to continue supporting the Hospice in the future.
 
Cudeca Hospice wholeheartedly thanks the Foundation Lagrimas y Favores, Manuel Migorance and his executor, Silverio Aguirre and Diego Maldonado, all his support and kindness that enables us to continue caring for those who need us most.
