Once again we celebrates our traditional Christmas “Light a Light” in memory of loved ones, on Friday 16th December from 6 p.m.
During this celebration the traditional lighting of the lights that decorate our Centre in Benalmádena will be carried out by the Founder & Honorary President, Joan Hunt OBE; and the chief executive & Medical Director, Marisa Martín together with more than 200 charity candles of the volunteers, friends and employees.
Also you will be able to enjoy at this uplifting occasion:
On this special evening, we will participate in charity raffle, home made cakes, and other savoury delights. Further items will be on sale, e.g.: Cudeca’s popular Christmas Cards, hand crafted by patients and volunteers, the 2017 “Special 25º anniversary” Calendars and the Christmas lottery tickets.
If you wish to light a candle and write a dedication in memory of a loved one, you can do this through www.lightupcudeca.org for a minimum donation of €10 or at the Hospice Centre on the night of the event.
The dedication will figure in the book “Light a Light 2016” that will be printed and displayed in the Cudeca Hospice.
The Lights of the Centre are a personal tribute and will continue to shine until 6th January.
Everyone is welcome to join us for this poignant evening.
